I have a very good job prospect in Kitimat and although it's way west for me, I like what I see for the climate

C for me

I like the mildness year round and there are 2700 m high mountains nearby,
so should be good for winter recreation.

Summers are pretty good too, by far the sunniest time of year, though
it loses some points as winters are pretty cloudy.

BC seems to have some climates that are on a vague frontier btw the oceanic and continental branches of temperate. This one in particular is a Temperate Continental (C3t), but a moderate, hyperhumid version.

OP, based on preferences I've seen you give previously it looks favorable for your tastes. Coastal BC is similar to my neck of the woods-a lot of cloud cover and rain with mild temps year 'round. Actually, it's colder and snowier than here during winter, which is OK. And probably sunnier in the summer too. Clearly it's very isolated, but for the most part that's a good thing IMO.

Lookin' good-I'll give it a B+.
