The most extreme weather I have ever experienced in relatively recent memory was 120 F temperatures in Las Vegas back in the early 2000’s, my stepfather said he’d heard the mercury peaked at like 122 F, of course he said that the weather man didn’t want to scare the tourists away so he downplayed the actual air temperature that day

Highest temperature: 121 F Phoenix AZ 1995
Coldest temperature: -24 F Milwaukee WI 2019
Coldest windchill: -47 F Milwaukee WI 2019. I walked around sleeveless for a few minutes since I wanted to see what that felt like on my skin. It was almost the same sensation as being in the blazing Phoenix sun.It just burnt really bad and my arms were red the rest of the day like a sunburn.
Highest wind gust: 102 mph Jupiter, FL 2005 Hurricane Wilma. Was outside the entire time getting blown down, was a blast, only time there have been sustained hurricane force winds in the area probably since 1947.
