A picture is worth a thousand words, so I won't say anything. Look at this graph:

I don't think they are.

You can see from the graph that the temps are varying from 7.7c to 8.4c.

Here is the raw data, of which the last column is used for the graph:

(According to the 9-year means):

The coldest year: 2002
2nd coldest year: 2013
3rd coldest year: 2012
4th coldest year: 2008
5th coldest year: 2003
6th coldest year: 2006
7th coldest year: 2009
8th coldest year: 2001
9th coldest year: 2007

Two-thirds of the years on board are in the latter part of the data period.

We are in an ice age, for 80% of Earth's history there have been no continental glaciers. It's uncertain when we'll enter another interglacial period, but the current nature of Earth's tilt coupled with increased concentrations of CO2 in the atmosphere means this is unlikely soon.

Huh. I can't see anything. There's only a small box with a question mark in the middle.

Nice thread. Ignore the ignorant and rude comments. What are the regression coefficients though? I'm not sure 16 years is a large enough sample to be statistically significant. You could try 30+ years and run some hypothesis testing to validate your theory.

At any rate though, I doubt this has anything to do with an ice age coming.

Eastern Asia can usually get Siberian cold snaps. I mean, Taipei is rather cold for its latitude and coastal proximity...

Not that surprising.
