Our highways are toll-free. And in surprisingly good condition.
France-Finland today in football. Time to start the psychological warfare: BOOH, Rozenn. You country smells like butt!
Bad thing to say.
The proper thing to do is to organize a grass-roots effort to prevent tolls from going up in the first place, just like they did in North Carolina last year when they wanted to toll a free interstate highway to pay for so-called "improvements." The people argued that highway was a crucial link and couldn't be avoided, which is why they were ultimately successful in their bid to keep the highway free (yay! ) Sometimes you have to use a certain road to get from here to there, and if it's tolled, you've got no choice to pay it. Same with healthcare - it's not something people choose to use, it just happens, and some people have crappier luck than others, despite their best intentions. Like roads, health care is something that needs to be paid for and used on a national (single-payer) basis.
