How is boating in Boca? On the map, I'm not seeing any beaches or islands to take the boat to? Only ocean access and Inter coastal water ways? Boating does not appear to be so great unless you love to fish.

what do you want to do? You can go up and down the coast offshore or intrcoastal waterway - lots of towns, marinas and restaurants all the way to the keys.. If you boat is big enough you can go to Freeport in the Bahamas for a bigger trip. Not everyone fishes. Why do you think there are so many boats here?

I enjoy taking my boat to beaches and private islands. Not seeing many options for this in Boca. Guess that's more on the Gulf side.

Boca boating is miserable.....the whole town is no wake/slow speed and the only hang around spot is Lake Boca.

Your a clown! That you tube video is Boca bash which occurs one day a year.
Boca lake is the main hangout in boca along with the intercoastal. Boynton beach and deerfield are 20 min away....if you want islands then peanut island in Palm Beach or Miami are your other options. Honestly I love the boating in the Boca area.

So was I wrong about Boca being no wake/slow speed around the whole town? You couldn't get to Boynton in 20 minutes using the ICW.....you couldn't get to Delray in 20 minutes! How about that fantastic boat ramp with the strong current and a tiny parking lot? That must be a good hangout on the weekends.....hanging out in the parking lot to get launched and parked!

Suggestions on where to keep my boat in the Boca area? Any dry storage facilities? I have a 19FT Whaler.

Why would you take the ICW to go to Boynton when there is an inlet at Boca lake? Taking the ocean up to Boynton takes 20 min.
Personally I use the boat launch at deerfield, pioneer park.

Crystal Lake boat storage on powerline and 10th is where I keep mine. You have easy access to 14th street causeway launch or pioneer park. Both are about 20 min away. I pay $150/Mo for a 25 ft boat.

Thanks. But, I was thinking more in lines of a dry storage on racks, no trailer, where they launch your boat on request.
