I currently live in Delray, and I just recently accepted a new position in West Palm after working in Boca.

The commute is about 20 miles each way. Would commuting north on 95 in the morning and south on 95 in the late afternoon be considered a reverse commute? I believe the traffic is worse in the opposite direction, but I just want to verify.

Can't say you won't hit any but you would be going primarily the opposite direction of traffic.

Excellent, thanks again skylinet for confirming. I was pretty sure that morning traffic is worse going south towards Broward County, and that afternoon traffic is worse going towards West Palm Beach.

I used to take the TriRail southbound in the morning. Southbound 1-95 was as a parking lot while northbound was buzzing along.

I drove between Boca and Jupiter a couple of times yesterday (Friday) and it was a mess near the WPB airport, but otherwise it was quite normal for SE Florida...85 mph in the 3 left lanes, 85 mph in the 3 right lanes, and 75 mph in the 1 center lane. I chose the 1 center lane and drove 75 but still people drifting on my rear bumper from time to time. I didn't get flipped off, so it was a good day.

If you gave me a house on the Ocean in SE Florida, I wouldn't live here. Great place to visit though.

I used to drive from Wilton Manors to Boynton Beach in the mornings and it wasn’t bad at all. The trip home, however, was often an hour long nightmare.
