I'm new to the area and wondering if there are any spots in Boca to celebrate New Year's Eve? I've seen plenty that are charging over $100 per person but does anyone know of anything that's affordable and still a good time? Thank you!

South Beach isn't far. Walk around Lincoln Road and you will have a good time.

South Beach is about an hour away from Boca, so if u live in Boca and plan on drinking you need to get a hotel there, which aint cheap either. Plus if you want to go into clubs there the cover charge is steep as well.

Simple answer...nope.

Then again, I'm not the partying type. Most places around here charge $100+ per person for an event. Welcome to Florida.

I guess it all depends on what you like. A few years ago, I spent New Year's Eve at Brogues on the Avenue in Lake Worth. It is a really nice Irish bar on Lake Avenue. It was nothing too extravagant or wild but it was a great time. We sat around and drank pints of Guiness while the music played and people were dancing. The prices are reasonable too. For $100, you could drink enough beer to think that you really were in Dublin!

Default try west palm beach to save some cash

They have a good party in West Palm Beach for New Years. They close down Clematis Street in the downtown area, and there are so many people out. There is CityPlace within walking distance which has a movie theatre, Blue Martini as well as other clubs and bars, and tons of restaurants like Cheesecake Factory. At midnight, they have nice fireworks over the Intracoastal on Flagler which is also within walking distance to Clematis Street, and they have a live band, and its all FREE!

Try CityPlace in West Palm Beach. They may still have the "snow" show and a band through New Year's Eve - good places to eat and a Movico. You should also check out New Year's Eve concerts in Boca and West Plam Beach.

I heard that Los Olas Blvd. in Ft. Lauderdale was a great place to go. They shut down the street, have a festival, and most of the bars on the strip are free (although I am sure you have to wait in line). Ft. Lauderdale is not that far from Boca.
