If any of you live at the Legacy Place condos in Palm Beach Gardens, can you please tell me how noisy the westside of the complex can get when the train goes by? During the day it's not a problem, I am more concerned at night. How often does the train go by at night?I am considering buying a condo there, and the dirt cheap price is convincing enough that I am willing to overlook the noise, unless it is really really horrible.
I was standing in the middle of the complex around noon when we went to see some condos, and the train passed, and it wasn't bad, I wonder though if at night it can be a nuisance.

Oh, and any other issues I should be aware of? It seems like a beautiful community, with a gorgeous pool, near great shopping.

TIA!

I currently live in Legacy Place on the West side and I have to say the train noise is pretty loud. The train only goes by a couple times a night and it doesn't really wake us up, but if you're already up it's pretty loud. That being said, that foreclosure right now for 120k is still a great deal. I'm actually listing the unit I'm renting soon it's one of the 1500+sqft, 2 balcony units.
I really like the complex, they take good care of it, the pools nice, the units are big for a condo and you can walk to a few restaurants/shopping.

Thank you, I got a little bit of courage hearing this from someone who lives there! How much is your listing going to be, in case this one doesn't work out (I'm thinking possibly multiple offers)? We don't have a realtor yet, we're just working with the seller's agent.

Great location - close to PGA ave - close to the mall - not far from the ocean. I think they were sold during the boom time and ended up with alot of owners balking at the market value. I saw some purchased at 399 and selling in the low 100's

Wow that is one of the biggest swings in value I have heard of for properties below jumbo loans. Amazing.

I have a friend in Boca who bought her condo for 230 and now several are selling in the 70's. Once the single family homes under 300k dry up I am willing to bet townhouses/condos will be far more into play.

I know where it is and I work nearby, FEC shakes the office. Can't say I care for the location other than being convient to Greenwise and Total Wine and some shops and Legacy which lost some places over the year but still isn't as bad as Downtown.

Lot's of traffic on A1A and it's right on the road basically. Seems like a tight complex with very little greenspace.
