Really?? I was told to stay away from Delray at all costs. I've also been told that Boynton is going to be my best bet but to stay west of Congress and idealy west of the turnpike. I appreciate any input. I was also wondering what the area was like just west of the island. I know it's more expensive out there but it's worth it to me to keep people safe.

Downtown Delray is a nice place with a lot of young professionals and young people in general. There's some sketch areas around, but most people who live in downtown Delray seem to really like it.
West Boynton is fine but ZZZZZZZZZZZ.
