In one of many examples of the abysmal and irrational policies of our state government, state funding for technology efforts in the far more successful North Central area amount to a pitiful $200,000 while state government dumps $3 million annually in the lame endeavor in South Charleston producing few results. It is high time to at least equalize the funding base since expenditures in NCWV produce more results than those in the Manchin engineered stupidity in Kanawha. There is a reason Dupont wanted to get rid of that place.

The NCWV tech corridor is also much more successful than the one in Charleston. NCWV is the silicon valley of WV.

It is nice to know with a fraction of the funds we still are the best.

The issue is the South Charleston park is a failure and needs state funds or it will close.
