Summer,
HF is just a part of gorgeous places we have in WV.

7th,
Just caught part of the broadcast. Before the stop in HF, did the train go in different sections of WV or just the EP?

Big part of the broadcast... Byrd and pork. Then "expert" saying how the things Byrd hasn't really helped WV. Tell that to the people working at the jobs Byrd has brought to the state. Stop and think how things would be without the jobs he has brought.

I recorded it on my DVR. Watched the whole thing (well, I forwarded through most of the news stories and weather broadcasts). They pretty much hung out down by the RR track next to the Shenendoah, and didn't really broadcast very long in HP.

I would rather have a root canal than see those clowns from GMA.

Love that RCB Pork...89 government departments now in NCWV...how many in 1975? zero!
And the people working in them, staffing them and having their families here are educated, civil and an addition to the community...the pork has brought a rich demography...an addition to a laidback lifestyle...

The GMA types would not feel at ease here...it's a community. We would not want them to feel our discomfort...please stay in New York City...Visit our conservative quaintness but please go back home...whatever that is...

RCB bypassed the social waste-programs and went to the heart of it all...jobs.

Rocky touted jobs in 1980...we went into a Depression here..
Mr. Moneyhand? Increase the family personal wealth..
Mr. MoJo? The same...

Why is it when a persons motive is honest, religious and heartfelt...when he/its realized that Wv would be nothing without his help and use of power..
when he fought against powers in his own party who would take the money and leave Wv to it's legacy of poverty...

Why is it that the effort of goodness and then the success is trashed...

He lives modestly in a home built in the 1960's...He has frugally lived on his salary...The treasure of his life is gone.

In his advanced age and frailty, he stands like an old warrior with his back to the bonfire tossing away the wolves who would devour...
When he goes, I will cry...those un-convicted criminals will race to take his place and begin sucking in the money away that could be used for higher purposes...

I glad to say that I lived in his time...to say I knew an orphan boy who did well for Wv...thank you, Mr B...
