Are there any men's or co-ed softball games going on in the White Plains or Scarsdale area? My town, scarsdale has a league but the registration is closed out. So, I'm looking for any group, whether it's a league, or bunch of friends or whatever, that may have room for me to join their regular games. Or, even if your group needs a body for catching, throwing, or batting practices, that's also good.
In case you want to know about my basic skill level....
On batting, I'm not a power hitter, but I can make solid contact and drive the ball. On the field, I can catch most fly balls and field grounders as long as they're not too hot. And I can make the throw to first with decent accuracy from 3rd or short. Basically, I'm probably not that good for a competative league play, but I can hold my own in friendly games.
