I know that Stop and Shop has peanut free muffins, but they apparently don't guarantee their cakes to be peanut free. We need to find a cake for our son's birthday.

Thanks.

Call a bakery and have them make one.

I guess I should have clarified; does anyone know where I can get a peanut-free cake made in a peanut-free facility? Or are my only real options to bake one at home or get a small prepackaged entenmans-type cake?

Try Cerbone's in Rye Ridge Shopping Center. I believe in addition to being Kosher they are peanut-free.

Heisler's (I am not sure of spelling) on North Avenue in New Rochelle. This is located near the corner of Quaker Ridge Road-not sure if you are familiar w/NR. They are allergy free according to their in window sign. Hopefully this means no peanut butter.

Good Luck!

You can try Riviera Bakehouse in Ardsley. Not sure, but worth asking.
Other option...do a Carvel ice cream cake. I know the feeling...my 2 yo has peanut allergy. So scary to live with! Hate it.

Divvies in South Salem is peanut-free, though cookies and cupcakes are the norm there, not cakes. Heisler in New Rochelle is now peanut-free, and has been since last year, IIRC. One of my nephews has a peanut allergy and has not had a problem with Heisler's baked goods. Babycakes in Manhattan would be another resource, and if you don't mind a drive to Norwalk, though they do also deliver, Izzi B's is a good bet as well.
