I'm glad I have stayed here the past 12+ years. The writing was on the wall about how much better this county could be and it is better now than it was then. I love this place. I love my neighbors.

My neighbors are mostly armchair or limousine liberals.
Myself, being socially liberal, fiscally conservative, usually I get labeled a Trumper because I'm white and have an opinion on some things contrary to "public opinion".

Opinions are like ... everyone's got one. Its all good with me. My philosophy is "Just don't tell me or anyone else how to live their lives." Based on your statement, I probably agree with you that I would prefer lower taxes and spending, but I understand that taxes and spending are necessary for a lot of things that I may or may not personally use. I was really responding to another comment, but you probably figured that out.
No, it really is everyone's business. It lets readers put your comments into the perspective of a person that left the peekskill area over ten years because of cultural shifts that you did not like. Your comments here are indeed any reader's business. Rather than read many many dozens of your posts on this forum, like I and many others have done, he asked a respectful question.
