Who do you use for homeowners insurance and why?

I use Fidelity Insurance, which was offered through my Allstate agent since Allstate does not offer Homeowners insurance in Westchester County.

We have been with Liberty Mutual for over 12 years. When our home was hit with a tree during Hurricane Irene a few years back, they had an adjuster there the next morning and it was fixed within 72 hours. I love them.

An insurance broker who has access to multiple carriers is what I would suggest.
