Buncombe County Commissioners are considering a plan that would consolidate 35 fire districts to 19 districts. ("Fire District Changes Public Hearing and FAQ's." Buncombe County, North Carolina.) A vote is planned for the Tuesday, 3 November 2015 meeting.
