Well, I figured that if I could survive Blowing Rock, and other areas of WNC, that I could survive Montana. Well . . . I was right! I miss you guys, but oh, how I love Montana! It's been almost 3 years since I left you guys, and man, what a ride!! My son and I have settled in a medium sized town, Livingston, that just happens to be a gateway city to Yellowstone National Park! Livingston has 2 grocery stores, 3 traffic lights, and no Walmart! Population is abt 7000. Fortunately, Bozeman (and Walmart) is only 30 miles away through the Bozeman pass. The area is growing fast and Bozeman is the fastest growing city in the country! I do keep tabs on you folks back east, and get my daily forum updates. As much as I love WNC, it's going to be a good long while before I'm back. If anyone heads out this way, feel free to let me know! I've a place for you to stay, or plug in your camper! Blessings to all y'all!!

So good to hear from you ! obviously you've settled in quite nicely, happy and very proud of where you are. I could 'get by' w/o a WalMart also.

As the saying goes: Bloom where you are planted.

There is something magical about the Western USA, I always enjoy visiting that region.
Best to you and your son.

Aren't WalMarts the malls of the modern era? Regardless, I think I'd die without access to one.

Is that a good thing ?
