All good vibes in place, all stars align, fingers crossed, etc.....we close here in FL September 6th and close in H'ville September 8th.

Sincere thanks to all who have answered questions and provided recommendations along the way – yes…I'll have more. I truly could not have move without you all.

As I mentioned on another post – here is my moving analogy, the train has left the station and it's traveling quickly...then you hit something on the track. You have to stop, clean it up and keep going. If anyone says their move went 100% smooth they are lying.

I'm working thru finding trash/recycle companies, the dreaded Morris vs AT&T internet decision, calling utilities, etc. Any recommendations and positive feedback are welcome.

I'll post more updates and some pictures from the new house.

Thanks again.

I'll be one of those "slow" FL drivers at first I'm sure.

Should have noted - we will be in unincorporated H'ville.

Me, the hubs and our labradoodle Frank. Vet and groomer recos are welcome too. Look for us at Sanctuary Brewing as that's one of our favorites.

Great news! And you guys have managed to time things pretty good, closing in Florida and buying here in tandem. Best of luck with the move, the next few weeks will fly by. We have been here for a little over 3 weeks and that move is becoming a distant memory already. (well, maybe not our vehicle being towed from the front of the house the morning of the move, but most everything else)

And we have become regulars at Sanctuary also, look forward to possibly bumping into you there.

Holy cow...that's not a good start. I'm selling my car so we will only have one at first.

Our realtor (recommended by Quilter Chick) has been outstanding. She has been our eyes and ears for everything during the sale. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. It's really hard to trust the process from out of state. As soon as we walked into this house on one of our house hunting weekends...we knew this was the one.

Once settled - I'll let you know when we will be at Sanctuary.
