Getting a job at Mission Hospital? (Asheville: university, doctorate, move to)

Hi, does anyone know the timeline for hiring at the hospital? Do they hire quickly or is it a slow process?

I viewed previous posts and didn't see anything relating to this question. Is it better to fill out online app and wait or try and go as a walkin and meet with a recruiter?

I'm not sure how the smaller hospital systems work.

I actually just applied last week to a position at Mission.. I am trying to move to Asheville from West Virginia. I'm graduating from Wheeling Jesut University with a doctorate of physical therapy.

Anyway, I applied I think last week on Tuesday or Wednesday, faxed my resume Thursday, heard back from them on Friday.. and tomorrow I will be scheduling an interview hopefully for next Friday... So, I'm not sure if that answers your question or not, but I'd say they are pretty efficient with their process. They've been the quickest to reply out of those I applied to last week.

What position are you applying for?

Thanks! I'm actually applying for physical therapy too!! I'm a pediatric physical therapist.

I have applied like a half dozen times and have NEVER heard back. I have some experience. I'm starting to get paranoid.

I did not, however, take the extra step of faxing in my resume. Maybe I should do that tomorrow?
