She sounds very polite. I think you are looking for trouble. Chill out. She then offers to cover your shift? She's obviously an accommodating person. Why do you care about her report on the B team when it doesn't involve you - even if you always got it before. The fewer reports the better.
I would classify the woman's reaction as going off on him. Demanding an apology is way over the top but she did behave in a politically incorrect manner.

You're right on the money there. She probably had something to hide/bashed me in her report and then when questioned on it, she got defensive.
