Currently an undergrad in college, I plan on getting a BBA in some business related major, but haven't decided yet. The thing is, I don't want to spend a lot of my time working, and would prefer live a middle class life with a salary of 40k - 50k if I get to work 35 hours a week. Are there any jobs that fit this bill?
I used to make almost $50K working 30 hours/week, as a librarian (manager) for a public library... but this job requires a Master's degree, so you'd be looking at another 2 years after college. Are you considering a graduate degree?
Not in the immediate future. Im hoping to get a job right after undergrad so I can help pay off loans, but I would consider getting an MBA 6 - 10 years later if I feel like it would help.
I'm no expert, but it seems most business jobs require long hours... I know quite a few people with MBAs/BBAs/etc, and they typically work 50-60+ hours/week. Maybe something more sales-oriented with set hours? Or perhaps retail or bank management? I dunno.
Sales would be your best bet--- if you have that talent. Some folks in sales can work minimum hours and make 6 figures--- others can work 60+ hours a week and never hit the minimum quota.
35 hour work week at 40-50k is rather not gonna happen for a BBA out of college--- unless you have some nice connection.
Most people in "business" (finance, analysis, marketing, accounting, etc) do not work 35 hours a week. I know of some people who work part time now and are high level, but that came from having the experience and then negotiating a deal with their employer-- i.e. caring for a sick parent, after having a baby, etc.
I work 40 hours a week currently-- but I am no longer in an operations day to day role in "business". I do much better than 50k, but there were A LOT of years making not even 40k and working 40+ hours a week in "business"
I'm in the same boat as you and am out in the workforce. You could probably find a job that was around 40 hours a week at 40-50K. However, if you want to go into management expect to work very long hours. I'd recommend getting into local/state/federal government or an educational institution. That's my goal. Good hours, decent pay, great benefits, good work environment, etc.

Plenty of jobs fit that bill. My govy buddy works 40 hours a week and (I think) get's an hour a day for physical fitness - paid.
Nine to five jobs with an hour lunch are 35 hour weeks.
In fact, you could go $80K to $100K.
Middle class lifestyle is location dependent. $50K means different things in Mississippi and Los Angeles.
How about a doctor? They make $150K+ and this is a transposition of a doctor's office answering machine:
"Hello, You have reach Dr. Golf Infidelty's office. If you have a life threatening emergency call 911. Our normal business hours are 9 to 5 with lunch from 12 to 1:30 Mondays through Thursdays and 9 to 1 on Fridays. Our last appointment is at 4PM. The next available 4PM appointment is in four months."
