Well I am 20 years old and I graduated high school. I took a couple classes in college but never got a degree. I enjoy working with people and don't mind dressing nice for work. Would rather not do the same thing everyday, like where it changes up every now and then. I have worked at a gas station for past two years and really want to start working somewhere where I could advance and make a good career out of it. Thanks for any help.
I wouldn't mind working at a bank. I am really good with numbers and handling money but is the pay good? I saw that they made abut $9.00 dollars an hour.
What kind of money do you hope to make? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What part of the country are you located and where would you like to be? There is a lot that goes into deciding a career. Ever think of some sort of vocational training? Not enough young people going into the trades these days. I probably sound like a broken record trying to push that one though.

How about finishing college and than worry about a higher paying job. i am also good with numbers, are half way to a college degree and I have experience. I can't even land a job in a bank..

Why work at a bank? I know a few people working at a bank, and the pay is awful. Someone I know with a business degree was recently hired and took a 32K salary... I didn't even know they made salary offers that low None the less, the appeal and allure of working at a bank with a nice office was all the motivation he needed to work so cheap.

Sometimes with banks it is getting your foot in the door. If you work hard there are options to move up quickly and then with branches across the country, a chance to potentially transfer. A lot of the job offers I am finding for entry level work in my field (marketing) is between 25k-35k, and this is in the NYC area.
