Should I opt out of putting my experience and education on my job resume for a simple low paying job?

Yep, take it off. Worked for me and my friend when we were looking for retail jobs but had college degrees.

I think that's a good idea to remove some of your skills & education when applying for certain jobs. Out of the 9 interviews I had over the last 4 months, I had 4 employers tell me that I was overqualified. One said I was "too senior" for the position & another said I had great skills but they thought I would get bored & quit the job.

My "outplacement therapist" said it may be best not to include all of your skills when applying for certain jobs, especially those in which you're willing to take a pay cut or step down for.
