All this does is cause hardship for everyone involved, not to mention the bottom line, so I fail to see why so many managers let people get away with bullying others. There's zero reason why people working together can't be nice and cooperative with each other, 100% of the time - if they can't manage to do that, then they need to be dismissed from the workplace, pronto. No ifs or buts about it...lol. Also, I'd ban "he said / she said" accusations too, any wrongdoing HAS to be witnessed by a manager to have any validity whatsoever - imagine how much more productive people would be if they didn't have to watch their back every minute of the day, just because a coworker has it out for him or her.

If I could rep you 100 times, I would! This is one of the most intelligent posts I've ever read on this board, or any Internet forum, period. Very rare to read something like this,
especially on this site.
In any case, I completely agree with the above
200%. Having to navigate office politics & interpersonal relationships at work is a huge hassle, and it takes away time/energy from what we should all be at work for - i.e.,
to do our job & not be distracted by petty bull$#$%. I really hate seeing incompetent people who do the minimum at work being able to get away with bad-mouthing others, etc.
This is one of the many reasons I'm glad I can work from home to some extent. I don't have to deal with a-holes, and can just focus on doing my job.
