I'm applying for Research Analyst jobs and would like to get the "inside scoop" from someone in this field. I enjoy and am good at research/analysis, so this feels like it's right up my alley. Please let me know what you think of it.

You might want to specify what type of research analyst you're talking about. Otherwise the answers you get might not be what you're looking for.

^This.

What type of analyst (biostats maybe?) and what type of research (pharma, market?). Also, what is your background/experience/skill set?

Sorry about that. I'm hoping to find a research job focusing in market trends/consumer behavior for marketing purposes.
