So it looks like I've been ''recruited'' by a company by the way of Amway Global. It costs money to startup. But it seems like a pyramid scheme to me, but I'm not 100% sure. Does anyone know about this company?
I was invited to join one of these groups once before I knew much of anything about it. I attended two meetings. It was very cult-like, to the point where I was verbally attacked for admitting to researching it/talking to people outside the group about it. Luckily I had the sense to run.
Amway is one of the oldest Multilevel Marketing/Direct Sales organization. I don't know where you have been to not know what Amway is. Is it a scam? Not really since it's a legal business that hasn't been shut down by the gov't. But is it something I would involve myself in? Nope, for the simple fact that whatever they are selling, I can find a cheaper and sometimes better alternate elsewhere.
You were "recruited" because they are running out of people to "recruit".
The main purpose is to get you to "recruit" more people, even though technically, they do offer/sell products.
