It's getting tougher for recent grads to land a job worthy of their college degree.
Though the demand for college graduates rebounded after the Great Recession, it has leveled off over the past 18 months, according to new Federal Reserve Bank of New York research.
I would say 90% of degrees offer very little return in investment. The people I knew who studied hard subjects like computer science, chemical engineering, and medicine have little trouble finding work right out of college. Heck, most have had recruiters scouting for THEM rather the other away around. I'm not saying degrees are worthless, it's just that some are more valuable than others depending on the market.

The job openings in my area have been for low-paying jobs that don't require a degree. From what I've been seeing/hearing, the well-paying jobs that require a degree haven't rebounded. Just my experience, though.
