They all suck. I use linkedin and ZipRecruiter. Craigslist has worked before but 90% of postings are scams so to hell with them too. Use Zip it combines all those job boards into and sends your app direcrly to hiring manager.
I've always used Indeed, and am starting a job I found on that site in hell 11 hours. Almost bed time lol. I check craigslist but have never gotten an interview from it.
Good old fashioned networking has worked far better for me. Go to events, conferences, exhibitions, and meet ups and network, network, network. It's amazing how this kind of human contact has turned into real jobs.
Number two has been relationships with competent head hunters who don't waste my time.
By contrast, the online "job boards" have been almost a complete waste of time. I am not a Luddite, though. I'm in technology and I spend a substantial amount of time online.
I'm currently doing a search and I'm using Indeed.com, or rather, reliant upon it for 75% of my searching. I'm also using LinkedIn, but I have been disappointed lately with the quality of the job postings there. Way too many lame jobs posted in a spammy way by less than impressive companies. If I filter it to my specific keywords, sometimes I get 0 results.
I've used Indeed almost exclusively. Use the easy apply feature to get a large volume of applications out and you're bound to get at least a few callbacks.
Craigslist has provided some good laughs!! It is amazing what someone these people think they can get away with. They can't write a complete sentence or spell, but want to hire you for a job. Lol
Jobs posted on LinkedIn are also posted on indeed. Just use indeed.
