The Detroit Free Press ran a front-page story this weekend about a man who walks 21 miles a day to and from work—and it's proving both the power of the press and the warmth of the human heart. The story caught the attention of a student at Wayne State University, and now, James Robertson can buy a lot more than just a car, the Free Press reports. Evan Leedy, 19, started a GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign for Robertson which has now raised more than $185,000 (and counting).
I heard he only sleeps two hours, that's insane even the Chinese workaholics sleep more. Not getting enough sleep on a regular basis will have a negative impact on your health.I'm not saying i don't believe his story, I have walked to and from work for a total of 26 miles and I can tell you after I got home I felt like dying on the floor.
Yes, 21 miles round trip. And considering how low his salary was, I'm sure he will appreciate all the money that is being earned as well as the free car he's getting. An example of good things happening to good people.
