I'm a 20 year old male in Georgia with no work experience and as of recently, not in school. All I'm looking for is any type of work, fast food, wal-mart, k-mart, etc. to get buy while I decide on a major or other career path. My question is, what are the best ways to go about finding work? Do I stick to filling out online applications? Do I walk into random stores asking if they need work, even if they dont have, "Now Hiring" signs? Do I ask any employee if they are hiring or always ask for a manager? What if the manager isn't in? Is there anywhere I can go that may would help me find a job? Are there apprenticeships or "on the job training" type of programs or schools I could look up? I basically just need to know all avenues that would help me in best finding any job I can find, and any advice on career paths or options that are available besides going to a 4 year college. I know about technical colleges and the military, so options besides those as well. Thanks
