Are you happy with your overalll employee job benefit package such medical coverage, vacation, personal days, sick leave, pension and the 40 hr week vs the 35 hr week. What does your company give you and what complaints do you have about your employee benefits.
I also dont like when your medical plan requires and you have to get a referal slip to see a specialist or having a gatekeeper. Somtimes just trying to get those referal slips from your primary doctor is a hassle. I also dont like companies classifying people between exempt and non exempt as I beleive it just a way not to pay someone comp time or overtime when you work just as hard.
Yes, I have to say I am, though I had to live through such a long, long time at once place to get it and would never recommend that but I had no choice but to stay there to support a family.
I wouldn't mind an extra week of vacation, but other than that I can't complain. Free health coverage-medical, dental, vision, RX, PPO plan so no referrals, no co-pays, low family deductible if I go out of network. Pension, annuity, vacation fund-all employer contributed. Some tuition reimbursement. I'm lucky and don't complain about my benefits at all.

I agree, can't really complain...State retirement plus a ICMA 457 plan that is matched dollar for dollar, short and long term disability, life ins, all the Gov holidays and I think I get 3 weeks vacation but I have so much time on the books that they dump every years into some health savings account thing. BCBS gold, no dental though but I'm earning in the 80k range..... All that with no collage degreeb Yea I'm pretty blessed!!!!
Maybe government has the best packages still. For me, after 27 years in one place, full health coverage, dental (after retirement still), 5 weeks vacation, and yes, I forgot, tuition reimbursement - $500.00 - but that's OK and a severance package based on untaken sick days and a pension.
I have a PPO (need no referral) an HMO dental plan, reduce priced legal services, good mental health care coverage, 15 paid days off a year, tuition reimbursement, an annual bonus plan (if I qualify), standard IRS mileage allowance, pre tax health savings plan, pre tax public transportation savings plan, decent 401K plan. All and all, I'm satisfied with our benefits. I wish I had 20 paid days off a year but have 7 more years to work until I get there.
I'm pretty satisfied with my overall compensation package. Sure, we all want more including myself, but I got a good thing going and I know it. I hope to ride this train for as long as I can.
I am not happy about my husbands, he has nothing. Just the paycheck. trying to convince him we need something but he feels he needs to honor his commitment. We have kids and no insurance, my job offers nothing as well. We have no retirement either. Cant afford to save right now.

I am happy with my benefits. We have free medical ($30 co pay for doctor and $5-$20 for prescriptions and that is for me and my family. We also have free dental (pays about 50%) and free life and vision. I get 7 holidays and 4 weeks of combined vacation and personal holidays. Sick time is unlimited but if you use more than 3 days a year, you have to prove you were really ill.
