Sounds like you need to do some deep soul searching and figure out what you want out of life. Maybe see a therapist if you're really unhappy. Or a doctor. Could be an underlying medical issue.

How does someone isolated get passed that tho? I will have to assume,(even though "assuming" is not a good idea), that this person is not the center of attention in their group of coworkers, or has any friends for that matter either?!

Bottom line. Money is important. The more you have the more options available to you. Just remember the streets has room for one more person. If choice of food and shelter isn't a motivator then start making your cardboard sign now.

God, I despise my generation.

It's called "work" for a reason. If it was fun, they would call it something else. Most people don't get to earn a living doing what they love. They earn a living doing something that doesn't make them nauseous in the morning thinking about another day of doing it. They do what they have to do to live as a responsible adult, and then pursue their passions as hobbies.

Too many government assistance programs that nobody has that fear anymore. I have never seen a bread line in my entire life, have you?
