Hi guy's, I work as an IT Auditor and am currently making myself more marketable be getting a few certifications under my belt. I've recently passed my CISA certification and have now decided to move onto the CRISC for Governance of IT Risk and Controls.

According to quite a few articles I have run across it's listed as the highest paying IT Certification of 2015.

Has anyone gotten there CRISC certification and noticed a significant boost in their income. Or does anyone work for IT recruiting and can confirm if this cert is in such high demand?

Thanks,

Thanks for the links. I'm new to IT and pursuing the Network+ hope to have it by end of December. I didn't know about ISACA certs "reigning supreme" I thought Cisco certs were the most in demand and highest paying.

I did IT Audit for a while. Got my CIA and then moved on. I considered the CISA after the CIA but moved on to better things, which was always the plan. For most, audit is to be used as a stepping stone to bigger things.

I would caution that you not overcertify yourself and thereby risk being labeled a lifetime auditor.

Best of luck.

YEs, in the "non-programming" side of IT, ISACA certs are on top, along with the CISSP.
