Working at my job for a while and never experienced this before? New guy comes. Cracks a few jokes. Its all fun at first now its hurtful and annoying. Daily he talks about my weight, what i wear and nit picks on everything i do. Calling me fat , hes muslim and doesnt like white people so anytime i greet other co-workers that are white he considers me a ' sell-out" meaning i prefer white people over black. Ive asked him to stop plenty of times but he doesnt listen. BUT today im tired of it. did some research online as far as legal actions but it seems like most states take the verbal situation very lightly. i dont know what to do so lost! Anyone here with Legal knowledge on what i can do. if i wanted to sue? What if i provided evidence? he always jut blurts out stuff so i can just turn on a recorder and just stand there while he goes on and on. What kind of lawyer would best help me? HELP!
