Have you ever met someone who needs to constantly be doing something for the sake of "staying busy" without really accomplishing anything? They seem to think that being busy all the time is the same as working towards something, but in my eyes it's just busy work. If I'm working on something, I'm going to try to find the easiest and fastest way to do it while still achieving the same end result. I have no desire to constantly look around and make up things to do in order to "keep busy". I'm more concerned about what the end result is after my work is done, not just working for the sake of working. What do you guys think?

Yes. Known several who can't sit still for a minute. They always have to be "working" and value "work" as an end in itself, regardless of what is produced or the end result. The real problem with folks like this, esp in the workplace is they will create work to be done which then impacts others around them. If they want to go home and dig up and replant the petunias all day, more power to them. But in the workplace no one stands alone and no project touches only one person.

Because they really don't care about the end product, only in being actively working, they jump from task to task without consideration of what isn't done. What I've seen with these folks, whether at home or in the workplace, is they leave a trail of debris behind them for others to clean up.
