Take multiple pictures of him in the dress and make sure it's featured prominently on the company's website.

Embrace his adherence to the dress code in an alternative manner and do everything to ensure his picture and dress is featured in the news.

Change the dress code to require dresses or skirts from all employees, male & female.

Peer pressure will solve this attention grabbing problem!

When he showed up the next day in a dress the company had already made the decision and sent out a memo changing the dress code and allowing shorts.

I'm not down with the dress part, but I get what the guy is doing. Men get screwed over by ****ty HR departments in office work environments everywhere. Women get to wear nearly anything they want (some look like they rolled out of bed and put on whatever), but guys are stuck with business formal attire all summer.

So dumb, all caving in does is to encourage more of these viral 'heroes.' This guy took multiple preening selfies of himself in the dress.

A bunch of school boys in the UK recently wore skirts to protest some uniform code. When will it ever end?

Five decades ago people in America were giving their lives to fight against racial injustices. In 2017, people dressing up in skirts are called 'heroes.'

No wonder our country is going down the tubes.

Good for him! I've done the same. I'm a woman, though. Micromanaging nonsense at a call center anyway. No one sees them. Anyone remember Utilikilts?

Actually I don't think management, nor any of my coworkers would want to see my fat ass in a dress. If my wife is a size 6, I'm a size 60.

He was making a perfect point. Women can wear skirts and be cooler. Men don't have an option. His boss wouldn't let him wear shorts so he went with another option. He now can wear shorts.

I assume he knew about the dress code before accepting this job. This is the company policy and if he has a problem adhering to it, he didn't have to accept the position. Now if they established this dress code after the fact, then he has a right to protest it within reason.

I can see why. Those shorts are way to small, too tight.
