I recently gave my resignation from work - the resignation becomes effective in three months.

I now find myself on disability and I am unable to work.

Will my resignation take effect while I am on disability?

I live in California.

3 months is the legal amount of time that an employer can hold your job, after 3 months they can let you go. But I'm not sure about the resignation part.
