I heard on the radio today that Texas may be the best place for folks to ride out the recession. We're doing okay here. There are jobs.

Boise- yeah if you wanna make a career out of Lowe's,Home Depot,Jasons Deli or whatever retail they build there.

Be smart, take these lists with a grain of salt. These magazines do this for publicity/readership ratings. These rankings are usually very cookie cutter in terms of parameters, factors and research. Do your homework if you want to move, find which cities offer YOU the best job opportunities for YOUR field and which places offer amenities that fit your lifestyle, family, etc.
