Job candidates are expected to be provided a problem then draft a presentation before interview date.

Is it appropriate to add one slide of self introduction at the beginning of presentation? Or just verbally introduce myself.

I was thinking to add a flow chart to introduce myself (school and previous jobs).

They already saw your resume at that point. They know who you are. Stick to what was asked for the presentetion.

It's professional to introduce yourself in the workplace, so nothing wrong with it, but I'd say keep it specific to the presentation. A quick slide that details anything from your professional background to your general know-how of the issue, spaced out with bullet-points.

So if it's a discussion about marketing, "Hi I'm Angie, I have marketing qualification in X, worked in X marketing company, worked on X project, and we did X Y and Z. So that's who I am." Bonus points if you employ things you learned in previous jobs to the problem at hand to display competence and ability to evolve.

I wouldn't do a slide on who I am. The resume should have been reviewed by anyone who is seeing the slide anyway.
