I would like a career in the cosmetic surgery industry. I am a licensed esthetician. Not yet a master esthetican. Currently in school for massage therapy. Soon to be entering the surgical technology program. Are there any other recommandations for breaking into this industry?

Yes, rent and watch all episodes of Nip/Tuck. That's what got me through to the Cosmetic Surgery Industry!

cheers.

First, I would have put a descriptive title as a thread subject.

I would have titled it :
Advice for a career in the cosmetic surgery industry.
That way, people who are not interested in guessing what your thread
is about, but who might know something useful to you will respond.

When using any written correspondence I recommand
using both a speell-checker and complete sentences.

I'm sorry that you have no life and feel the need to respond to threads that you have no interest in. The next time I create a thread I will be more specific as to avoid *******s like you.

If I wasn't interested, I wouldn't have responded.

As to whether I have a life or not, who's to say? I like to read
the forums and respond when I have an interest or feel an urge.
It's active participation in a group. It's less of a "life" than some
forms of recreation and more than others.

Going for a walk with no particular place to go might indicate that
I don't have a life. It might also indicate that I'm smart enough to
get some valuable exercise. Visiting the forums exercises my mind.
I like to practice my spelling and grammar ( and sarcasm ).

In any case, if you WOULD "be more specific" when creating a thread,
that would be much appreciated. Every time I get on here and someone
has created a new thread with brilliant titles like:
-----------------------------------------------
"Hi!"
"need help"
"Locations"
"Overtime"
"Please read!!!" ..................>>> just look like spam.

Once I went into the thread, I had to make a constructive comment.
People come on this particular "Employment" forum complaining all the
time about not getting responses to letters and emails. Sometimes
it's obvious that they cannot write and I wonder how many are
rejected out-of-hand just because of that.

It's sort of like having a severe case of halitosis and wondering
why people don't want to associate with them. Wouldn't you
want someone to let you know?

You know; if you write the double s's as '$$" then the City-Data
forum won't censor your curse words.

You can also call me a "jerk" or a "pustule" - which are both just as
insulting, but won't be replaced by a series of asterisks. -- your call.
