I have a question for fellow unemployed people in Illinois. My initial 26 weeks ends in another month in early February and I'm just curious if the EUC (Emergency unemployment compensation) benefits is still in place because I'm still getting few calls about jobs though that could be because of the holidays. Does anyone know if the 33 week extension is still in effect?
I qualify according to how they determine if a person is eligible and I would prefer to not have to worry about it but the current job market is brutal as I'm sure many of you are aware.
