I can't believe this !!!!!!!!!
LAUSD amid all the up and coming budget cuts, just announced that they will reassign down town fat cats whose jobs get cut , to school sites where they will "BUMP" a classroom teacher or administrator of recent hiring.

My position w/ the district is not threatened because I am so low paid without benefits that I don't even register on their pay scale ,,,but as a parent I am concerned that my childs teacher who has been keeping up on her education will be replaced by some office ape with an inflated golden parachute !!

I am furious.

Anyone else have experience with such an agency as LAUSD that has no common sense, no scruples, no eithics, no conscious ????

I am currently an academic counselor at LAUSD. I want to work part time now because I resently became a mother. Does anyone know how I can do this?
