The below list are the megacities of the world, which ones interest you the most enough for you to want to visit and or live in?

I'll leave the poll as multiple choice by the way-- so you could vote for as many as you want. They've all been rounded up to the closest 100th, hence the triple 000's at the end of all of their numbers.

The world's megacities:
- Tokyo: 37,126,000
- Jakarta: 26,063,000
- Seoul: 22,547,000
- Delhi: 22,242,000
- New York: 22,214,000
- Mexico City: 21,404,000
- Shanghai: 20,860,000
- Manila: 20,767,000
- Mumbai: 20,749,000
- Karachi: 20,711,000
- São Paulo: 20,186,000
- Beijing: 18,827,000
- Osaka: 18,769,000
- Los Angeles: 18,082,000
- Moscow: 16,200,000
- Dhaka: 15,414,000
- Cairo: 14,718,000
- Calcutta: 14,617,000
- Bangkok: 13,800,000
- London: 13,709,000
- Buenos Aires: 13,639,000
- Istanbul: 13,576,000
- Tehran: 13,500,000
- Rhine-Ruhr: 12,190,000
- Rio de Janeiro: 12,043,000
- Shenzhen: 11,885,000
- Lagos: 11,547,000
- Paris: 11,175,000
- Tianjin: 11,090,000
- Guangzhou: 11,070,000
- Nagoya: 10,027,000

Hard to categorize ones:
- Chongqing: 28,846,170
- Chengdu: 14,047,625

What are your opinions of these places? Could you see yourself live in any of them? How about which ones interest you for visiting? Which ones have you been to already?

Ive Being to

Seoul
Shanghi
Manila
Cairo
Bangkok
London
Buenos Aries
Istanbul
Paris
Schenzen
Guangzhou
and Chengdu, (if you want to include it)

I have already lived in Seoul and London, and would certainly move back to either of them if things went terribly wrong in Australia, with Seoul being the first choice. Of the others i would consider living in Paris, Istanbul or Bangkok.

Of the rest on the list, I would love to Visit the three Japanese Cities, New York and Tehran. We will be going Beijing and possibly Tianjin, this winter (summer in the northern hemisphere). I could not say I could live in them until i have visited them first.

Worlds biggest cities. The monsters of the globe. The pariahs of the sleepy norms. The centers of activity.

New York
London
Seoul
Osaka
Los Angeles

In any order. They're all a win regardless.

All of them, I'd like to see them all. Starting with Seoul first and absolutely foremost.

These "which city would you live in?" type threads should have caveats of how much money do you have to live there? Mainly due to the fact that for probably the majority of the cities listed unless you have a good deal of cash on you the living conditions probably wouldn't be anything to write home about.
