You know when that happens it gets mixed in with political ramifications. Those who kill in the name of the prophet have an agenda.....a political agenda.
Just strange in that you never hear those killers yelling they want to build a mosque or taking up a collection for poor Middle Easterners who can't get the money to visit Mecca. They are operating differently completely off the deep end in their misconstrued interpretation of their beliefs.
It's a form of genocide. You don't believe in their particular religious beliefs you lose your life. It's happened before in history on both sides of the religious spectrum.

That's like asking why psychopaths kill people . The radicals are mentally ill desperately in need of intervention and in many
cases in need of institutionalized care.
Radical Muslims believe that everyone should be Muslim and conform to strict Sharia law/s. So people who don't want to convert or they feel are mocking them are fair killing game.
