Settlement during colonial times had nothing to do with north or south, or climate. Not only the US and Canada were settled by Europeans, after all Europeans settled all over the Americas. After all, Spaniards and Portuguese are Europeans as well.

Really, your views are weird, to say the least. What do mixed-race relationships in Brazil have to do with anything?! Whites there did not mix because of the climate. Indeed, the whiter people were, the less likely they were to mix as being white meant a higher social status, i.e. more racism towards darker people.

I am not sure if you are saying that Aboriginals do not mix with white Australians, end of story.

The interracial marriage rate of Australian Aboriginals is actually very high.

According to this aboriginal based website, as many as 83% of Aboriginal Australians marry a person who is not aboriginal.
