If you did: please, tell me where, the climate of that place, how is the life there (how much do they pay, if there is a high quality of living and so on...) and.. well, a description of your staying. Thank you

Never went to Antarctica. But went to Titan, quite the same I guess. It's cold, no taxes, quite boring, huge quality of life : free refill of ice and water.

I was serious. There are many research stations in Antarctica so it's not impossible that someone from this forum actually worked somewhere in Antarctica. Titan has never been inhabited... LOL, but I'll take the joke, thanks

No, but would love to, if it's only ecologically acceptable.

But it's hideously expensive. A 12 day cruise cost like USD 8000-15000.

I had a roommate who worked as a firefighter in Antartica. There wasn't many if any fires at the research station, so he said it was basically a very well paid but often boring gig in a very forbidding landscape.

Take a look at the film, "Encounters at the End of the World", by Werner Herzog. That will tell you a lot about life there.

Cruises there are becoming increasingly popular. I wouldn't mind going one day just to say I went, but I can't imagine there'd be much there but ice and penguins lol.
