I watched this on Sunday and was totally engrossed in the man's story. No cell phone, no Internet, just tons of book and a large imagination and active life. More people would thrive if they lived the simple life as the caretaker did.

Spent 4 winters and summers in Gardiner, Mt. and had the opportunity to meet Steve once. Back than I was amazed that he could stay in the park all winter. It was bad enough in Gardiner. One winter it was so cold the door on the house froze shut.
