I have been doing some research about Raymond Mt. and Raymond Cr. My name is Alonzo Scott Raymond, My Grandfather is Alonzo George Raymond, My Great Grandfather was William Goodwin Raymond, My great great grandfather was named Alonzo Pearce Raymond. My ancestors lived in the Star Valley are in the mid to late 1800's. I have a picture of my grandfather leaning on the Raymond Creek marker in the mid 1980. My great grandfather William, taught school in the late 1800's in star valley some where around freedom or afton, also had a homestead north of Freedom. My question is? Does anyone in cokeville or surrounding areas know the History of Raymond Mountain, Raymond Creek or the Town of Raymond outside Cokeville. I am trying to write my perosnal history including my ancestors who live in star valley or cokeville area, or can you put me in touch with some "old timers" who might know the histroy of "The Raymonds".
