Tega Cay grew by almost 75 acres Thursday as the coming Cameron Creek development entered into city limits.
The property went through a county rezoning late last year, as it was in unincorporated area prior to Thursday’s annexation into Tega Cay.
The rezoning allowed for more properties than are now planned. There even were renderings sent to the county for 200 homes and as many multifamily units. That number is a good bit lower now, Lynch said. “We anticipate having about 170 single-family homes and 100 townhomes,” she said.
