Quality lumber for wood working projects? (Rock Hill, Lancaster: live, Lowes, build)

I reside in Rock Hill SC. I have a few wood working projects I would like to tackle but I am having a hard time finding quality lumber. Lowes & HD have the worst wood. Currently I am looking for 5/4x6x8'length cedar & 2x4x8'length cedar to build a potters work bench. I also would like to find hardwood planks for other projects. Anyone know of a wood supplier anywhere in SC or NC?

There is a place out in Lancaster, SC that has their own sawmill that you might want check into. If you drive out there don't be surprised if you pass it a time or two.
